Homely B and B in the Merthyr Valley

Situated in the village of Troedyrhiw, just 4 miles south of Merthyr Tydfil, we are ideally situated for Bike Park Wales and the Taff Trail. The Beautiful Brecon Beacons are within 15 miles, and if you want to visit Cardiff we are only a 10 minute walk from the train station with a direct line straight into the heart of the city. There are two rooms available, both with double beds, for a couple with a baby there is plenty of space in either room for a travel cot. There are two spacious double bedrooms with tea and coffee making facilities and DAB radios. Both rooms can accommodate a travel cot for infants, or for an older child we can provide a 'Z' bed or airbed. Tv's are not available in the rooms, but there is a separate Guest lounge with TV and Sky. There are local buses to Merthyr Tydfil and from there to Cardiff, or it's a few minutes walk to the local train station where trains run direct to Cardiff and Barry Island. There is free on road parking close to the house, or with prior arrangement we can provide off road parking at the rear of the property with access being through the back garden. The hosts live on site and will be available when needed, but we like our guests to be free to enjoy their stay. Breakfast will be served between 7.00 to 9.00 weekdays, and 8.00 to 10.00 on weekends. We would appreciate it if guests give us an idea of their preferred time on arrival. In a quiet location overlooking the mountains of the Merthyr Valley.
