Every season has their attraction, summer- fresh mountain air, autumn- beauty of colours, winter- plenty of snow and spring- beauty of flowering plants. There are so many options, during summer and winter. Go to a spa or go skiing at nearby Sljeme ski resort site of the annual FIS Snow Queen Trophy or just stay at home enjoy Goldfinch and order delicious food, (vegetarian or classic) from a lists of good quality restaurants. Also Capital city Zagreb is only 30 km from the house. You have a modern 300 square m house equipped with a Gym in basement, swimming pool on mezzanine and 100 square m apartment on the first floor. Also, you have 3000 square m outdoor space prepared for sport activity or having fun on the terrace equipped for BBQ and leisure. Your host Stjepan is available 24 hours, will be grate pleasure to help and share something which can make your vacation in Goldfinch house 4* more enjoyable. There is no coffee shop in walking distance, but your host will prepare the best espresso for you with pleasure (our house is across the street) or he will drop you off at the nearby Temple bar or Maximilian. The best walking and climbing routes are on your doorstep, starting from your house through the woods of our valley but best option is to go by car 10 km to the mountains top and then there are numerous walking trails and endless views on Zagreb city and Hrvatsko Zagorje. Your host will organise transport to your choice of destination. Alternatively, Stubicke Toplice has a fair-priced car transportation service, (web search "nase-usluge/taxi-zagorje"). For example pick-up service from Zagreb Int’l airport to your house in Pila costs 44 EUR or a trip to the top of the mountain is 20 EUR.
