April 2021 - brand new mattress, pillows and protective covers!!! Sweet dreams await! The space is about 1800 square feet! It's a Hilltop home with lots of privacy in a hamlet of a town; yet very close to everything. You'll love this...There's a large main room, 3 main bed rooms, a full bath w/tub and shower, carport parking(or covered patio), 10' ceilings & all the comfort you could ask for. Give it a try; you'll be back I'm sure of it! This place is amazing; everyone loves it, and I'm sure you will too! All the furnishings are high quality ....... and we take good care of them; so you can have a great time! Being that the home is built into a hill the ENTIRE LOWER LEVEL is finished into this living space you see. (NOT THE ENTIRE HOUSE) The two levels are completely separate regarding driveway, entrance, carport/covered patio and the living space. (See More after cleaning) YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN SHEETS & TOWELS!!! CLEANING: We have a SELF CLEANING POLICY; there are NO cleaning fees! UNLESS you want to have us clean; if so, its a $60 fee. (We will need to know this ahead of time so we can arrange it.) WE PAY A PROFESSIONAL CLEANING COMPANY to deep clean - minimum (1x) PER MONTH! HERE’S HOW IT WORKS: Clean after yourself : Assuming you use all the normal stuff The very basic you must do is: - Wipe counter - Put your dishes in dishwasher and start it - Wipe toilet with Clorox wipes - Wipe bath room sink & mirror - Rinse shower - Vacume or sweep anything YOU tracked in - Take out your trash & replace bag - We supply all cleaning materials (during COVID19 bring - lysol & cleanings wipes due to shortages) - The MOST IMPORTANT thing to ALL of us is.......a CLEAN BED! - Beds have bed covers; they STAY ON the bed or get immediately replaced. - We replace the mattress every two years. (REMINDER) - You MUST BRING YOUR OWN SHEETS & TOWELS!!!!!! The comforters/Quilts stay on the beds or are immediately replaced; we wash them weekly or as needed. - All this info applies to the provided air mattress as well. Now......BACK TO the space........ My family and I live and work on the 2nd level and have two loving dogs and lots of guests. My wife & I are available however generally we don't interact with guests unless they choose to engage us. We have kayaks, canoes, coolers, sports equipment, bandaids, fishing poles and a half of lifetime of other crap we're happy to let you use. This is a fun place to stay, there's lots of privacy and nature; yet a short walk to town with all the shopping, restaurants, liquor stores, and specialty places like "The Ugly rooster cafe" you'll certainly enjoy! You can have a camp fire and relax in the hammock (firewood not always provided) We hire a professional year round pest control company to ensure theres no critters around. Cheers! There are a few locked doors like the mechanical room, storage room and the electrical room. No interaction unless we're approached I'm always available by text or phone. This is a small town; one square mile to be exact, population is about 5,000, we have our own police force so there's virtually NO crime to mention! You can walk to almost any place in minutes. There's public transportation 9am-4pm for $1.50; anywhere in the city. 20 Minutes to: Saratoga Race Course, Saratoga performing arts center (SPAC), Saratoga Spa State Park, Saratoga auto museum, Saratoga civic center, The Casino 30 minutes to: The Adirondack Mountains, Lake George, The Great Escape & splash water Kingdom, Rensselaer train station. 10 minutes to: Global Foundries. 26 minutes to: Albany Airport, Saratoga train station 15 minutes to upstate concert hall 25 minutes to rivers casino Look in the house manual for FREE beer, coffee, soup or candy; friends of mine have graciously provided these just for visiting them and showing your airbnb receipt! Yum! Also, There's no keys to lose at this place; all you need is a code to gain entry.
