After fifty years of neglect, the village of Canova has been completely restored by us and by a group of friends from Sweden, America, Switzerland and Great Britain. The rich area surrounding the village consists of five valleys that allow mountain lovers the possibility of small and large excursions and, in winter, to ski on the numerous cross-country and downhill ski fields. The enchanting paths that lead to the mountain pastures can be covered on foot, by running or by mountain bike. The characteristic train of the "Vigezzina" connects Domodossola to the Canton of Ticino in Switzerland, crossing the Vigezzo Valley and the territory of the Cento Valli. There are also excursions to the Val Grande National Park, to the Veglia Devero park, to Monte Rosa, visits to the Toce Waterfall, the highest in Europe, to the Sanctuary of Re and to Lake Maggiore and its islands.
