Quiet Waterfront Cottage with Boathouse Deck

Welcome to this stunning waterfront property on Chandos Lake, near the town of Apsley. Private cottage, with a boathouse deck for outdoor relaxing and dining, dock and a breath-taking lake view. Cottage has original wood fireplace, upgraded kitchen, large windows facing the lake, bunkie, and boathouse. Beautiful sunsets every night! Don't miss this fantastic, peaceful get-away! Chandos Lake offers great swimming and fishing. Two kayaks and a canoe are available for guests to use. Feel free to use the gas BBQ on the boathouse deck, outdoor stone fireplace, and the larger fire pit for campfires and making 'smores! Guests can take advantage of various board games on rainy days. Boathouse deck has hanging Edison lights that create a beautiful dining/cafe experience in the evenings. Guests have access to to the entire cottage, bunkie, boathouse, and waterfront. The kayaks are available so you can explore the lake. Help yourself to life jackets in the boathouse. Please bring your own water toys. "Shantilly's Place" Marina (West Bay Narrows) is about a 20 minute kayak away. Perfect for some Kawartha Dairy ice cream, or to pick up some Chandos Lake swag, or grab some grocery items. If you want a break from cooking, "Swiss Bear" restaurant is about a 10 minute drive from the cottage, on hwy 28. Delicious home-cooked meals, and the "Schnitzel Express," where you can get food-to-go or eat in their outdoor picnic area. Apsley has a Sayer's grocery store, Kawartha Dairy ice cream at the General Store, Home Hardware, and gift stores; "Woody's" and "Four Seasons on Wellington." There is also a fabulous library in Apsley. Please bring your own bedding (sheets and pillowcases). Pillows and blankets/comforters will be provided.
