My house is located in a quiet area of Tean, away from main roads, with the front overlooking a river and countryside. It is 6.6m from Alton Towers, 1.1m from Heath House, and close to JCB and The Potteries. Guests are welcome to use the kitchen, dining area, reading room, garden and front balcony. 3 private parking spaces, and visitor car park also on site (all free). Please let me know on booking if you would like the room made up as two singles or one super king size bed. Breakfast is a selection of cereals, toast, jams, eggs, fruit, juice and tea/coffee, which you can help yourself to. New divan bed and mattresses, of high quality, with suitcase storage. The room has a cupboard with coat hangers and a shelf, a desk with chair, TV with (Hidden by Airbnb) Chromecast, and drink making facilities. The bathroom has a powerful shower. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner provided, as well as hotel quality bath towels. The house has Faster Fibre WiFi, with a minimum guaranteed speed of 63.8Mb. 7.4kw EV type 2 charger available, charged at £1 per hour. I own a very friendly and placid dog. Guests are welcome to use the kitchen and dining area whenever they like for food preparation, hot drinks and eating. There is ample seating in the back garden, and two chairs on the front balcony overlooking the river and countryside. A separate room to the living room can be used for reading and relaxation, but meals are not allowed in here. Meals can be consumed in the dining room or outside. As your host I will try to meet you on arrival to welcome you and show you your room and other facilities. Key safe also at the property. Nearby is a Co-Op, post office, chemist, excellent Chinese takeaway and a Fish and Chip Shop. There are pubs and restaurants in the vicinity. Takeaway deliveries can also be ordered. Tean is central to many attractions and beautiful walks, within 10 miles these include: Churnet Valley Steam Railway, Churnet Valley River Walk, Uttoxeter Race Course, Dimmingsdale, Hawkesmoor Nature Reserve, Consall Hall and Gardens, Consall Nature Reserve, Trentham Eastate (Monkey Forest, rope course and gardens), World of Wedgewood, Gladstone Pottery Museum, Caverswall Castle, and Waterworld. Within 15 miles you can find more lovely walks in the Peak District, including Manifold Valley, Ilam and Dovedale. With the A50 nearby the village offers good transport links. Country walks to the front of the property.
