Farm holidays in the countryside of Montepulciano

We are a small farm with a family-run farm on the border between Tuscany and Umbria. The old farmhouse in which we live with our children is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves with a splendid view of Montepulciano. We can accommodate in 2 apartments and / or 1 independent room furnished with poor art and originality. In the large garden, available to all, there are two swimming pools (one for children), games, the organic garden, and the small "restaurant." Casa Maria is a large apartment of about 75 meters with a separate entrance on the ground floor of the farmhouse. It consists of a large living room with table, chairs and sofa and kitchen. On the living room facing two double bedrooms each with private bathroom and possibility of additional bed. Outside are the guests a barbecue, a semi-private garden with table and chairs and umbrella. The kitchen is equipped with everything that can be used to cook for 6/8 people. All around the house and the annexe there is a garden of about one hectare equipped for various activities all available to guests.   In a private area and fenced the park there are two swimming pools: the largest is 6x10 m with a depth of 1.50 m, the second is a pool designed for children, is round and about 9 square meters, 80 cm deep; The pools are surrounded by a large lawn with sun beds, umbrellas, shower and gazebo with table and chairs. Scattered among the olive grove and the orchard there are games for adults and children such as swings, a basketball hoop, rings and climbing rope, a gazebo with table tennis, darts and foosball. Also in the garden there is also a vegetable garden ... where you can go to the grocery store Here you will find a family atmosphere and you will be at the center of our attention. If you have kids, big or small, you will find everything you might need (cot, high chair, careful in the kitchen ...) and something extra such as wood or parlor games and a large selection of books illustrated result of experience Ilaria in the publishing world for children.   And if you need anything ... just knock on our door and we will endeavor to help! Here with us, you and your family can live in contact with nature, making experiences that will make your holiday special, in contact with the animals, helping in the kitchen or grocery shopping organic garden ... But also relaxing at the pool sipping good wine. Our location allows for short trips to visit different cities and villages: from the Renaissance Montepulciano, Etruscan Cortona, Pienza (Unesco World Heritage) to the romantic Bagno Vignoni; but also Siena, Arezzo, Perugia, Assisi are visited in one day. If you love the hot springs you can immerse yourself in Bagni di San Filippo, or take a canoe ride to the lake Trasimeno. By bike, on foot or on horseback you can make beautiful, relaxing walks ... Here you will find all the material and the know tips and loves the place in which he has chosen to live. Here the Agriturismo La Terra is possible to have breakfast or dinner in our little "restaurant." Ours is a family of traditional Tuscan cuisine, we prepare all meals at the moment with products from our organic garden. We make homemade bread, pasta, cakes, jams and preserves ... and if you want you can cook with us. And if you have special dietary requirements (celiac disease, intolerance, allergies ...) just inform us and it will not be a problem.
