Stunning chalet, Lochcarron

The Chalet at Loch Dubh is a modern, self catering holiday cottage situated in the grounds of our Croft and enjoys an enviable, elevated position overlooking Lochcarron. It is a perfect base to explore the West Coast, Isle of Skye or the NC500. The chalet is ideally situated to give you elevated views of the Loch with the advantage of only a five minute walk to all village amenities without any of the traffic noise from the Main Street. The open plan lounge has a large settee which converts into a double sofa bed, satellite TV, DVD player and log burning stove. A dining table seats four and the modern kitchen is fully fitted with all cooking utensils, oven, microwave, washing machine, kettle, fridge, toaster and ironing facilities. There is a double bedroom with fitted wardrobe and hairdryer and a fully fitted bathroom with power shower. The property is fully centrally heated and has free Wifi access. It is ideal for couples or families, sleeping a maximum of five ( 1 double bed, 1 double sofa bed and an extra small camp bed which must be requested at time of booking).Linen and towels are provided and a travel cot is available on request. Please note this is self catering only and no meals are provided. There is ample parking and you have exclusive use of the chalet. There is a small patio area to enjoy the stunning view and other seating areas in the main garden. We also have a lockable shed for bikes etc. The nightly price is based on two people, prices for extra persons on request. Myself, my husband and two children live in the Main House next door .We are available whenever needed to answer any questions. We also have a friendly dog and sheep. The village of Lochcarron offers shops, petrol stations, a bistro, a café, a hotel and golf course and just a short drive away you can find Lochcarron Weavers and Attadale Gardens. It is ideally located for day trips with Isle of Skye, Applecross peninsula, Torridon and Plockton all under a 45 minute drive away. There are numerous walks and cycle routes for the more active guest. we are also on the now famous NC500 route. A car is recommended to make the most of the area. Strathcarron railway station is 3 miles away and Inverness Airport is 70 miles away. All linen, towels, basic essentials, tea and coffee and logs are provided.
