Scenic nest

Pleasantly nested in the hills, surrounded by woodland near the city of Bergamo you can find a well-equipped two-roomed flat with a balcony with a panoramic view: the ideal accommodation for singles, couple or couple with a child, the base to visit nearby towns or simply have good time in total relax. The flat is situated at the first floor of a farmhouse renovated in the late ‘80s by some members of the nearby Golf Club. The condo includes 10 flats designed to be use as second home located in a scenic, peaceful, relaxing area. We welcome you in a very nice 38 square meters flat with a living room, a kitchen area provided with washing machine, dishwasher and TV, a bedroom with loft bed and a bathroom. The condo is surrounded by common garden, green fields and woodland. We provide you the need for breakfast including Granma Rosa’s jam (according to season) and fresh cow milk. You can find also several novels and other books: if you like one, you can hold it leaving one of your own (book crossing). The parking place is next to the condo Unfortunately architectural barriers (narrow stairs, absence of lift, loft bed) make the access difficult for people with disability. We welcome our guests personally and we are available for any requests during your stay. We can suggest place to visit and experiences to live. We speak Italian, English and French. The house is isolated but close to the city and its several activities at the same time. It can happens that a wild rabbit, a rate or a hare runs in front of you especially in spring and summer. Certainly birdsong will be your background music and probably you’ll have close encounter with cows that the building caretaker grazes in the nearby fields. You can buy their row milk from the distributor at the bottom of the street. The atmosphere is very peaceful, isolated but not too far from residential areas and some of important city of the northern Italy such as Bergamo (16 Km), with the charming Città Alta (Upper Town), Lecco, with Lake Como, and Milan (70 Km). The area has not a good transportation system. Bus stop to Bergamo is quite near (about 500 meters) but bus rides are very few. In Ambivere (6 Km) there’s a railway station on the rail link between Bergamo and Lecco. Orio al Serio Airport is only at 20 km. If you like make sports you can go to Golf Club Albenza (golfbergamo.club), to Al Volo Libero Bergamo (paragliding and hang-gliding), simply take a walk along the several paths in the forest all around the condo or go to the Lake Iseo and Montisola (40 km). However, if you like sightseeing you can visit the Romanesque churches of St Catherine, St George and St Tomé, the so called pearl of the Romanesque in Almenno San Salvatore (5 km). In Brembate di Sopra (5 Km) there’s La Torre del Sole (The tower of the Sun) an astronomical park. If you are interested in horseback riding and hippotherapy 'll have to go to the Farm Cascina Sant'Agnese (4 km) In the town of Palazzago you can find several farms where you can eat and drink very good local product. Suitable for children (but not only) there is the wildlife park Parco delle Cornelle (8km) and the amusement park Leolandia (20Km). Last but not least you can relax at the Spa in San Pellegrino Terme (20 Km) or in Tata-o Family Spa & Resort (6Km). It is allowed to smoke on the balcony and in the living room but it is forbidden to smoke in the bedroom.
