Beautiful room in Colwinston cottage.

Room with three quarter double bed available in a beautiful, semi rural village in the Vale of Glamorgan, (one twin room also available in separate listing) which share a bathroom. Countryside views and short walk to an excellent village pub. Close to M4 and the stunning heritage coastline. A short drive from Bridgend and the market town of Cowbridge. Cardiff is half an hour by car. The room has a three quarter, very comfortable, double bed, perfect for one person or two if you like to be cosy! Television in room, wardrobe space and dressing table with mirror. Beautiful village views from window. The room shares a bathroom with the twin room (separate listing) but will be of private use if the twin room is not booked. A cot and highchair are also available on request. Guests are welcome to use the garden, kitchen, laundry room and living room on request. I am often away so please check in advance. Breakfast available on request at an extra cost (while I am here). One off road parking space is available plus on road parking. Please check in advance if you would like breakfast provided. at an extra cost. Colwinston is a very friendly, peaceful and pretty, semi rural village in the Vale of Glamorgan. There is a great local pub a few minutes walk away which serves food. There is also a newly opened shop and cafe a short walk away, a Norman church dating back to 1111 and many pretty countryside walks. A car is recommended but there is a bus stop about 1km walk away which has a half hourly service to Cardiff, Swansea, Cowbridge and Bridgend. There is a train station in Bridgend (approx 5 miles away) with a direct service to London Paddington. Cardiff is a half hour drive, Swansea a 40min drive. There are many excellent walking and cycling routes, especially around the nearby Heritage Coast. Cardiff Wales Airport is a 20 minute drive away. I have a very friendly siamese cat so for this reason I am unable to welcome other pets.
