Ideal holiday space to explore central Scotland.The cottage is in the private grounds of the main house and situated in exclusive development of 8 houses just above the village of Blackridge. It lies equidistant between Glasgow and Edinburgh,30 miles from Stirling,and in secure private setting. Blackridge has a railway station with trains running to Glasgow and Edinburgh twice hourly,with a free car park.The Fife coastline is just over the forth road bridge,with beaches and golf courses. An ideal base for central southern Scotland exploration,or to concentrate on the main cities,Glasgow Edinburgh or Stirling without the cost of staying in town. The cottage is in grounds of five acres,mainly laid to lawn/pasture. Most times we are in residence in the main house and are glad to help or suggest outings. Secure private and quiet country cottage. Excellent train and bus connections.motorway is 5 miles away,nature reserve behind our grounds for walking,and we are on the Scottish central belt cycle route. The downstairs twin bedroom(with en suite)has its own TV with free-view channels. Upstairs in the lounge,the main big screen t.v. has a basic sky package,a B.T. box allowing B.T. sports etc,a DVD player,and a play station. There is a sizable film library.Internet speed is 30+mbs(as per provider spec)
