Private Room in Historic Cedarburg - Updated 2022

We welcome you to stay in our recently updated guest room. You will be warmly welcomed by our golden retriever, Molly (and us, of course). Our house is walkable to downtown Cedarburg (.6 mile) where there are many unique shops & restaurants. Cedarburg is very picturesque. It sees a lot of tourists in the summer, for festivals and during the holidays. Stop at one of the many coffee shops in the morning. Let us know how we can help make your stay most enjoyable. We are excited to get to know you. You will have a private room (our guest room) with a full-size bed in our 3-bedroom house. There is a shared bathroom. We live on a quiet dead end street near a park. Guests will find ample street parking on our quiet street. During the winter there is no street parking allowed and then we would have you park in the driveway. We have put bicycles in the garage for some folks. There is a bike path nearby for biking. You can use Uber, but it is not widely used around here so just make sure to plan ahead and it should be no problem. If you have questions or are looking for advice, we are happy to help. We enjoy visiting with our guests, but know that they often have things that bring them to town. We live in a very safe neighborhood and nearby to a historic downtown area with lots of shops and restaurants. We enjoy walking downtown as a family. Our neighborhood is made up of single family homes. We are about 15 minutes away from Concordia University and Lake Michigan. You are welcome to park on the street right in front of our house. In the winter months there are parking restrictions for snow, so we will have you park in the driveway. We recommend walking to downtown Cedarburg, which we do often ourselves. We have an 8 year old Golden Retriever who will likely meet you at the door when you arrive. She is very nice, but does love to give "kisses" and get all the pets she can find. (She mellows quickly). We have two young boys that will share their trucks with you. Between our dog Molly, and our two boys you will be very welcomed in our home! House Rules/Notes: With two young children, the house is usually quieter around 9pm. With this in mind, we ask that you do not bring guns/weapons into our house. As we had an issue with the following in the past, we ask that you don't come back to our home intoxicated after your evening (no smoking/vaping). Reminder: For check-in, please make sure to communicate via the app as to your arrival time. We would like to make sure we coordinate a time to greet you. We do not do self-entry into our home.
