The Granary is a converted two storey barn in the courtyard of what was once an old windmill. Now a stable yard. It is part of a private property with its own entrance and off road parking. It has views over a private lake where you can fish and is within walking distance of a pub. The historic town of Bungay is 1 mile away with shops, cafes and amenities. There are lovely walks in the immediate area and it is only a short drive to the coast or the broads. Boat hire is available locally. The Granary is in a quiet private setting in the stable yard, home to two horses. There is a small private balcony which overlooks the stables and the lake and is a lovely spot for breakfast, morning coffee or a glass of wine. Guests please note that the kitchenette is equipped with a sink, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and tabletop hob but does not have an oven/hob so cooking facilities are limited. Off road parking at the accommodation. The host lives on the premises and is easy to contact. Broome is a lovely quiet village on the Norfok/Suffolk border in the Waveney valley with great access to local amenities found in Bungay (1.5 miles), Beccles (4.5 miles), Norwich (14 miles). There is direct access to walking and cycling routes and popular fishing lakes within 500mts. Easy driving distance to the Norfolk broads and the East Anglia coast There is a pub within walking distance. Great walking and cycling immediately from the cottage. Short drive to Norfolk Broads, East Anglia Coast. Local pub in village. Short walk or drive to Bungay/Beccles with pubs, shops, restaurants, takeaways etc The host has two dogs who live at the site and are very friendly and always keen to meet guests. If you want to bring your own pet please contact the host before booking.
