Chalet Soleil, ideal for families

Chalet Soleil is in a lovely location, perfect for winter skiing and also great for Summer walks and activities. The chalet is fully equipped with all home from home comforts with a wood burner in the living room for the cooler nights and a large deck which is great for a summer evening. The Chalet is set over three levels. On the ground floor there is an entrance hall with a large cupboard for outdoor ski kit or summer walking gear. There is also a laundry area with washing machine and tumble dryer. On the first floor the open plan living room has a wood burner stove, a dining area with table and 6 chairs and a fully equipped kitchen. There is also a shower/toilet room. On the 2nd floor there are 3 bedrooms and a bathroom with a bath. Parking for one car is available on the driveway. We ask guests to not park on the road in front of the chalet but if you have an extra car please use the car park at the bottom of the road. A car is essential to get around the area. A keyholder looks after the chalet. They will be available to sort out any problems during your stay. Col du Corbier is a small village located in the French Alps. The village has a restaurant/bar, a tennis court, a small beginners ski slope during the winter and during the summer months there are many mountain walks and trails that are accessible directly from the chalet. The ski resorts of Morzine/Chatel/Les Gets/Avoriaz are all a short drive away and offer great skiing. During the summer these resorts have many cycling trails, outdoor swimming pools, lakes and walking trails. The local restaurants serve some fantastic local dishes and during the summer many are open with outdoor dining available. A car is required whilst staying at the Chalet. There is a local supermarket a few miles down the road. Parking during the winter at busy times can be difficult in some ski resorts but you can park for free in most locations. Please remember that you are required to have snow chains in your car whilst travelling in the mountains during the winter months. During the summer there are many places to visit and parking is normally not a problem.
