Welcome to our home at Forgeneuve, Burgundy! It is a historical monument first established in the 17th century. The grand mansion was subsequently built in (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) It is surrounded by 20 hectares of private property with ancient historical monuments, landscapes, gardens, orchards, rivers, a pond and forests. The gite on the right side of the mansion has been newly renovated with modern amenities and its own independent entrance. Here you can fish, canoe, touch the horses and do more in the nature! You will be staying in the right wing of the mansion, with its own independent entrance and complete privacy. The house has been newly renovated with modern hotel-quality amenities to provide you the maximum comfort for your vacation. Meanwhile, you will also find little nods and reminders of the history and country life throughout the house. We are sure that you will find your very own photo/ (Hidden by Airbnb) worthy moment here! - On the first floor, we have a grand open-plan modern kitchen, dining and living room for the entire family to hang out or enjoy different activities together. It also features a historical grand cooking oven, a fireplace and stone tile flooring. - On the second floor, there are three unique bedrooms: one spacious room with a luxurious king-size bed, one garden-view room with hotel-quality queen-size bed, and another cozy garden-view room with hotel-quality double-decker beds for kids or friends traveling together. - The house has one spacious bathroom and two independent water closets. - The house can comfortably accommodate a group up to 6. In case of a bigger group, we are able to offer additional access directly from the house, to a grand double room with its own shower and bath to nicely accommodate 1-2 additional guests. Please do not hesitate to check with us about it. On the property, you have free access to the garden and historical sites during your stay. Here you can make the best of being in nature: go fish, rent a canoe, or bicycle from us, take a walk in the garden and forest, organise a picnic, or simply just lie down next to the river to read a good book. In the region, there are also plenty of things to do. We are surrounded by historical sites, hidden gardens, national parks, great restaurants and markets!
