Spacious Family Suite - charming village pub

Charming and spacious bed & breakfast accommodation above our wonderful country Inn, serving delicious, locally sourced food and drink. The Nest offers a twin bedroom adjacent to an open-plan living room with a king-sized bed attached making it ideal for family stays - the open-plan bedroom annex allows for little ones to be tucked up in bed while the grown-ups can relax in the lounge into the later hours. The bathroom has a bath with overhead shower and WC. The Martlet Inn is a proper country inn set in beautiful rural Somerset. Our dedicated team of staff will look after guests from check-in to the point of departure. We serve up a hearty farmhouse breakfasts, accompanied by lighter options, of a morning and have wonderful lunchtime and evening meals to enjoy. We spent a lot of time during lockdown to re-invent the upstairs of the pub as spacious airy letting suites and we aim to offer you a warm welcome as well as a relaxing stay. We are 5 minutes from the M5 motorway and the National Cycle Route 3 runs straight past our front door! The stunning Blackdown Hills and Quantocks offer superb walking and biking trails and both the North and South coasts are easily accessible for day trips. For those looking for some more urban days out we are perfectly placed to visit either Bristol or the Cathedral city of Exeter.
