Seafood Festival, (bi-annual) Viking Festival, Traditional Boat Festival in July. And Tarbert Music Festival in September are very popular. The walks in around the village are a delight and a short climb to the ivy-strewn ruins of Robert the Bruce’s 14th century castle is definitely worth it for the views Tarbert is the gateway to the Kintyre Peninsula with its stunning white sandy beaches, there is easy access to no fewer than four ferry terminals.
