Light-filled Villa Montegiorgio - stunning views

Casa Isabella has been carefully renovated using honey-coloured stone and traditional cotto flooring, but with a stylish, open and contemporary interior. It sleeps 8 people comfortably in 4 double bedrooms, with 3 bathrooms. The house is situated in rolling hills with views of open farmland and medieval hilltop towns, nestling in 7 acres of our land, with vineyards and olive trees. The delightful private pool is easily accessed through French doors from the living areas. Holiday perfection! The house is ideally situated for a peaceful holiday with family and friends, providing all that you will need for a comfortable, restful stay. It can be hard to tear oneself away from the pool, the crickets chirping, the swallows dipping. In fact it is so quiet and magical it is easy to forget that one is only a 5 minute drive or good 20 minute walk from Montegiorgio. The house, grounds and swimming pool are for the sole use of the guests. I don't live in Italy, but am easily accessible by email and telephone, as is the housekeeper, who lives close by and speaks excellent English and Italian. Le Marche is a wonderfully unspoilt region of Italy, chosen by the worldwide Lonely Planet guide as one of the top ten regions in the world to visit in their Best in Travel 2020 awards. Our local town, Montegiorgio is delightful, with its bustling Friday market, bars and shops. One might take in a football match in the local stadium, a trotting race at the hippodrome down the road, or a play at the local Roman amphitheatre. Alternatively there are plenty of attractions close by, from the art of Crivelli and architecture of Fermo to opera at the grand renowned Macerata summer festival, lazy days at the seaside in Porto San Giorgio, or a visit to the mountains and lakes, with a few hours spent shopping in the various outlets (Prada and Tod's etc ) nearby. And not forgetting, of course, that to immerse oneself fully in the region, one must sample the delicious cuisine and wines of Le Marche in one of the many fantastic local cafes, trattorias or restaurants. A car is a necessity for a holiday in Casa Isabella, if one is to really explore all that the area has to offer. There are many wonderful walks nearby, and it is also possible to hire bikes. As with all Le Marche rentals, the Police and Tourism Officials request that we have full details of all guests: Photograph, First and Last name, Date of Birth, Place of Birth, Address, Nationality , Number of ID card/Passport. This year due to the Coronavirus, and because our housekeeper, who lives nearby can't therefore see you in person while you are there, this information must all be sent in the week before arrival.
