ACACIA GROVE | The Acacia Cabin

Our old self contained Cabin is nestled away in the Yellow Fever Acacia forest just outside Arusha. It is the perfect place for travelers passing through or for those who wish to find a quiet and secluded place to getaway. Tranquility, fresh air, space & food for the soul. 5km from Arusha airport, shops & restaurants close by, free WiFi, 11acres of forest & farm, horse riding, walks, wildlife, day trips, BBQ, fresh & clean, self-catered kitchen, cozy fireplace & hot shower. This cabin was built in (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) so it’s got a lot of character and charm. The cabin is self-catered and is run completely on Solar and Bio-gas so we ask you not to use large appliances or leave unnecessary lights on. The porch has just been renovated so enjoy your meals and coffee with a view. There is an outside BBQ area too for you to enjoy. Big garden with some wildlife such as monkeys, Dik-dik antelope, bushbabies, mongoose and plenty of bird life. We are slowly trying to renovate it so with each stay it will get better hopefully. The property is shared and boarders the family land so you may go for forest walks, meet the horses, look for birds and wildlife. We also have a farm with pigs and rabbits that you may go and say hello to. We are available anytime. You will receive our (Hidden by Airbnb) number so you can contact us at any point in time. If we are not around we will let you know before hand and one of our staff members will be there to help. The property is safe and there is always someone happy to help if you need it. We want you to be comfortable so please don’t hesitate if you have any questions! Arusha Airport is within 5km of the property. We have a horse riding school right next door that you are welcome to enjoy. Long walks around the property are a special treat. Restaurants and shops are near by. Views of Mt. Meru are visible in and around the area. Arusha town (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) mins away. Day trips to Arusha National Park, Maji ya Moto Springs, Tarangire National Park are all driving distance from us. Taxis & local motor transport is available. If you wish to go horse riding please contact me so that we can make arrangements with the riding school. $30 per person per hour. All are welcome whether your a beginner or advanced. It’s family run, so it’s an easy possibility and we are happy to give you the option to enjoy such an experience.
