The Peter Tavy Inn. very popular for meals. Advisable to book. The local town is Tavistock is a 10 minute drive . Plenty of local independent shops and a thriving Pannier Market. Farmers market in the square on the second and fourth Saturday of the month. The barn is 500 yards from the moor, short walk up past the church, alternatively you can walk up via the Coombe extremely pretty with the brook cascading down from the moor. Wild swimming in the area just ask me.
