Our "en suite" room, has all you need for a quiet stay. So quiet you wont wake up! Stunning views, and the whole of historic Fife beckons, Golf? Seaside? Castles? Edinburgh? Michelin starred restaurants? St Andrews? all within an hour, or simply relax! We only have one room to let, so you will be the only guests staying. Less than 20 minutes from St Andrews ideal if seeing or dropping off children at the University. You have your own bath and shower and space in the room to relax, we can provide glasses for wine and we provide a bowl of fresh fruit. Breakfast is the high point. Homemade bread and yoghourt. Fresh seasonal local fruit often from our garden and or stewed fruit from the garden. Home made granola, jams and marmalade. Good tea and coffee. A breakfast fit for a king! The room has a television and internet connection. Please feel free to use the garden and relax in one of our many benches or seats in the sun! We do like to welcome our guests when possible but if not we leave comprehenisve notes! We also like to be around for breakfast so that you can ask any questions and we can help plan your day. We have lots of maps guide books and have lived here for over 20 years so we know our way about! We live on the edge of a small village which has a good pub, its a very quiet secluded place. Nearest train station is Markinch - 20 minutes away. we have ample safe parking outside the house I provide food tours and can also prepare dinner for you. Fife has an amazing variety of produce from sea food to game- venison and pheasant, to amazing vegetables and soft fruits - strawberries raspberries. we also have great wild ingredients like mushrooms and herbs. I have worked in Michelin starred restaurants, so ask for details on what I can cook for you!
