Our high-end Summerhouse nestled in a rural setting, with green fields and stunning scenery, located midway between Llandeilo and Carmarthen, approx. a 30 minute drive from the sea. It’s easy to kick back and relax. The building is sunny, warm, light and airy. The garden has views stretching for miles where you can sit and enjoy incredible sunsets behind the rolling Welsh hills. The summerhouse is open plan with a double sofa bed, TV and heating. There is an electric shower and heated towel rail in the bathroom. The garden has a bistro patio set and a veranda for undercover outside dining. The summerhouse is self catering, and the kitchen is fully equipped, with a fridge, kettle, toaster and a new hob and oven. Some basics are provided, like salt, pepper, some herbs and spices and cooking oil. There will be complimentary tea and coffee. There is no clothes washing facilities. Bedding and bathroom towels are provided. Guests and friends often tell us that they have not slept and relaxed so well for a long time. Maybe it's because there are very few places left in Britain where you cannot hear the hum of a busy road or the sound of vehicles every few minutes. Here at the cosy Summerhouse, the village lanes are extremely quiet and you are completely surrounded by nature. All around you are hills and mountains. Except for the neighbouring farm buildings, you could easily believe that you are tens of miles from civilisation; yet 3 miles away is the small town of Llandeilo. As we are out in the sticks, mobile service is intermittent, but most networks can get signal somewhere, even if it means a trip to the garden or short walk into the field. There is no landline, but there is internet/Wi-Fi. There is a village pub nearby in Salem. Guest access Access to the summerhouse is through our main drive and easily accessible for people with limited mobility. I am available upon arrival and happy to provide contact numbers to assist you during your stay The historic town of Llandeilo is a small lively place that has a variety of attractions and award winning cafes, pubs and restaurants, local shops and art galleries. Public transport is limited. You will need your own car.
