It is an ideal base to explore the Trossachs, Loch Lomond and is close to Glasgow and half an hour from Edinburgh by train. There are two other cottages on site which, when booked together offer accommodation for 14. The Pavilion is an ideal base to explore the Trossachs, Loch Lomond and is close to Glasgow and half an hour from Edinburgh by train. The Pavilion sleeps 4 in a double and a twin room. The cottage has an elevated open-plan living area on the first floor to give fantastic views and sits in beautiful gardens and woodland at the foot of the Campsie hills. The upstairs living area with wood-burning stove is open-plan to the kitchen and dining area. Downstairs is a double and a twin room. There is a bathroom with both and toilet downstairs and a shower room upstairs. The cottage welcomes a well-behaved pet. guests can use all spaces inside the cottage and the grounds which has woods, gardens and a lovely burn with waterfalls. Guests can checkin independently and at any time that suits them after 330pm on the day of arrival. The owners are available by phone for any queries and also are close by if you need assistance in person. The cottage is situated in extensive garden and woodlands grounds which guests are welcome to walk in. You can access the campsie hills direct from the woods for more extensive walks from the doorstep. The towpath on the Forth & Clyde canal is only 2 miles away which is ideal for cycle day-trips and connects with the Falkirk Wheel and the Kelpies. For day-trips it is a half-hour drive to the Trossachs and Loch Lomond and the cities of Glasgow Edinburgh and Stirling are all within very easy reach. The station is around 10 minutes away and trains every half-hour run to Glasgow (in 20 mins) and Edinburgh (in 30 mins).
