VILA FLOR is a beautifully appointed villa has 6 bedrooms accommodating 13 guests (+ 2 infants on request) and 6 bathrooms. There are 4 bedrooms on the upper floor and 2 on the lower floor. The upper floor also benefits from a large enclosed veranda perfect for chilling. The lower floor has very spacious lounge and dining room plus very well-appointed brand new kitchen. Vila Flor is a large and grand villa, with many traditional features but with a light and airy feel and the modern touch which appeals to young and old alike. Our guests all love the fabulous outside space with plenty of shaded verandas, fabulous patios and the all-important swimming pool. We are available at the end of the phone for our guests should they need help, information or advice about the area. Central Portugal is quite simply an amazing area for all ages groups. The forested mountains and pure rivers provide a perfect backdrop for a multitude of fun activities from hiking, biking, paddleboarding, swimming or running. Yet it is always peaceful enough to enjoy a long cool drink and a great book. Vila Flor is a couple of minutes walk from two of the best Praia Fluvials (River Beaches) in the area. The pretty village of Secaries boasts a number of Cafes, bars and restaurants within very short walking distance and the nearby town of Arganil provides cafes, restaurants, bars, banks, supermarkets, a weekly market and plenty of independent shops. A short drive will take you to numerous river beaches, the famous Xiste villages and a little further you will find the famous University city of Coimbra, the Atlantic beaches or the ski slopes of the Serra d'Estrella mountains. A car is advisable.
