Holiday House "Villa Anna Maria - The Linden Tree"

Villa Anna Maria Holiday House is located in the center of Fossacesia, 3 km from the "Costa dei Trabocchi" and the abbey of San Giovanni in Venere (XII c.). This cozy apartment is composed of a large, fully furnished bedroom with queen sized bed, a smaller room with two single beds, a fully equipped kitchen and living area, tv, washing machine, iron, heater, air conditioner and free wifi. We are right down the street from the shops, public transportation and other services. The apartment is located inside a private courtyard with a lovely garden and barbecue area which can be used at any time free of charge! In a corner of the garden there is an entrance path with a private gate for our guests. The apartment is on the first floor with a short stairway (10 steps) and a veranda in front. Our guests will receive a warm welcome upon arrival and during their stay they can count on us any time they need anything, since our home is right next door. If we are not home, our guests will be provided with a phone number to call in case of necessity. The neighborhood is friendly and there is relatively little traffic. In summer children play in the streets just like in the good old days, so this area is perfect for families with small children, because they can safely have fun playing outside until evening.We offer free private parking in the immediate vicinity of the apartment. The apartment is 100m from the main piazza, where public transport towards the beach and towards Lanciano is available. -Furthermore, services such as the Post Office, banks, health services, bars and other businesses like tobacconists, newsagents, butchers and supermarkets are easily reached on foot There are two bus stops within a 200 m radius. The bus line goes to the beach of Fossacesia Marina and is a good solution for those who would prefer not to worry about the hassle of finding a parking spot. The buses are equipped with bike racks, so you can enjoy the new bike path along the coast. Villa Anna Maria is strategically located in the town center. Just a few km to the east, is situated the abbey of San Giovanni in Venere, a XII century monastery built on the ruins of an ancient Roman temple dedicated to Venus, venerated for her attribute as the protectress of familial love. Just a short walk towards the sea from the abbey is a breathtaking look out point to the "Costa dei Trabocchi", the Golfo di Venere and Fossacesia Marina. The coastline is dotted with a number of Trabocchi, ancient fishing rigs in recent years transformed into restaurants. A few km to the south is the British War Cemetery where the victims of the Battle of the Sangro River and the Gustav Line are interred. A few km to the north, in Ortona, there is a Canadian War Cemetery. Lanciano, the city of the most important Eucharistic Miracle is just 17 km away to the west. Vasto, a beautiful seaside city, with its historical center and spectacular balcony over the sea, as well as the "Punta Aderci" Nature Reserve, are located about 20 Km to the south. Finally, about 37 km inland, we have the Maiella and Grand Sasso mountain ranges with several National Parks where castles and medieval villages are perched on the craggy mountainsides. Abruzzo is truly a diverse region to visit!
