A perfect base for exploring local islands and the many tourist attractions Shop, pub and train station within a mile. Attached at one side to owners home but completely separate access. A long established, spacious and well equipped holiday home in peaceful village surroundings.. Extremely comfortable and homely accommodation allowing for a stress free holiday. Ideal for a group of friends or two families. Sleeps maximum 8 plus baby. There are two bright double bedrooms upstairs with partial sea views. Also upstairs a twin bedded room over looking the garden plus golf course. A big family bathroom with large shower and centre roll top bath. Downstairs there is a dining room with a large table to seat 8 plus a high chair. Two pulleys in this room to make drying clothes easy. Downstairs bathroom has a bath and mixer tap shower head. Fully equipped kitchen. Downstairs twin bedroom over looking the garden and golf course. Sittingroom with conservatory attached provides a large, bright social area with plenty of comfy sofas the wood burner making it extra cosy in the evenings. Plentiful books, dvds and games for wet days! Parking for up to three cars in garden. BBQ beside pond. All linen provided including towels/teatowels. Beds made up for guests for their arrival. Starter pack of toilet rolls, bin bags, washing up liquid etc. Initial basket of logs provided, easy to buy locally. Village shop less than 5 min walk, Co-Op in Wemyss Bay, Morrison’s in Largs, Tesco/Aldi/Lidl all in Greenock. Plenty of options to eat out or take away. Prospect hill welcomes sailors attending events at Largs Marina. (only 15-20 min drive away). 5 Min walk up onto Skelmorlie Golf Course, 10 min walk to fishing reservoir. Popular area for paddle boarding, kayaking and water sports in general. Tourist attraction leaflets all in house. Trains leave every hour from Wemyss Bay to Glasgow. Four local ferry’s allowing easy access to the islands and Cowal peninsular. A day out to both Bute and Arran highly recommended. A real home from home. Bubbly and nibbles in welcome basket:) STRICTLY NO PETS /SMOKING/STAG/HEN PARTIES Guests are free to use the garden which includes peaceful seating area and bbq by the pond. Parking in driveway for up to three cars. Bike rack. Washing line. We live next door and for most of the time will be on hand for any issues without being intrusive. Otherwise please text/phone for any queries. A perfect base for exploring. Countless attractions nearby, although neighbourhood itself very peaceful making for the ideal holiday escape. Parking for up to 3 cars. Train station less than a mile. Local bus and taxi services also available. Bikes welcome. Due to Covid 19 we are leaving at least one full day between bookings and carrying out a deep clean after guests leave.
