Recently refurbished, Lovely Character Cottage With Stunning Countryside Walks, Damson Cottage is a tastefully converted stone barn situated in a lovely part of the world with all the mod cons that you would expect. If you are looking to ‘get away from it all’ and unwind in a really relaxing cosy environment then Damson Cottage is the place for you. Tina and Gary live in a 450 year old farm house that we have extensively restored and refurbished over the past 18 years. Damson Cottage is one of our outbuildings that we converted into a luxury holiday home. We moved to Somerset with our young family in 1985 and absolutely love the area, Our boys have long flown the nest but we have no intention of leaving Ford Farm or Somerset. You will have the entire use of Damson Cottage along with a patio and garden area as well as a dedicated parking space. On arrival you will be welcomed to Damson Cottage by Tina. To start you off there is tea, coffee and sugar provided together with a fresh pint of milk as well as a Somerset cream tea! We have tried to think of everything to make your stay as comfortable and special as possible. Outside: The property has its own courtyard patio area with table and chairs directly outside the stable door of the property. Damson Cottage is in the grounds of Ford Farm and Tina & Gary are in residence. Tina will meet you on arrival and both Tina & Gary will be available most of the time during your stay. Beautifully finished and convenient to many of the West Country's finest attractions - Wells, England's smallest cathedral town and Glastonbury, place of Arthurian legend and the Holy Grail. Bath, Europe's finest Georgian City with it's Roman Baths and Cheddar Gorge and Caves. There are a number of award winning pubs and restaurants within a few miles of Damson Cottage. Wells has a modern bus station and just 12 miles beyond is the mainline train station of Castle Cary. Fully fitted kitchen with cooker, washing machine, fridge, dishwasher,microwave, toaster, kettle. Large bedroom with brass double bedstead. Wardrobe, drawers and bathroom with Victorian roll-top bath and shower attachment. Sitting room TV with DVD, WiFi and Bose radio/CD player.
