There is a bakery, a mini market, cafes, restaurants and gas stations . Lefkada is a big island so ideally you will need a car or motorbike to discover all the hidden beauties of the island . There is a bus that connects the village with the town but it doesn’t run very often . Parking space available onsite. Alternatively if you don’t have your own vehicle we can arrange for your transportation. What makes the apartment unique is its strategic location. 12 kilometers from the town and easy access to the famous west coast beaches Kathisma, Porto Katsiki, and the picturesque village of Agios Nikitas which is only a 10 min drive away . Although in a traditional setting, it’s easily accessible as it is next to the main road making it easy for guests to reach it . Karya village, a must-see for its architecture , folklore museums, summer fairs, cafes and tavernas is also very close. For the more adventurous fellas the countryside around offers many options, such as the Gorge of Melissa, for hiking or cycling. Or you can just mingle with the locals at the wine festivals that take place in July and August in the village.
