This stunning two bedroom duplex apartment has uninterrupted views of the sea. Recently redecorated and fully equipped, with everything needed for an amazing holiday close to Arrifana Beach on the spectacular Western Algarve. Set inside a small, private gated condominium with two communal pools, and within walking distance of bars, restaurants and the beach. Surfing, water sports, cycling, and tennis are all available or, just relax on the large private balcony overlooking the ocean. The apartment is on two floors. The private entrance leads into the lounge/dining area which opens up onto a very large (6.5m x 2.8m) private, South West facing balcony with seating, table, parasol, sunbeds, a built-in B.B.Q. and sink and storage. There is a fully fitted kitchen with large fridge/freezer, dishwasher and all appliances which include a microwave and toaster - everything you could possibly need. In the lounge there is a 43" smart TV, a small selection of games, and a large ceiling fan to keep you cool. In the winter months there is a log burning stove to keep you warm. There is also an upstairs WC with basin. Downstairs, on the ground floor there is a light, airy double bedroom with ceiling fan, large fitted wardrobe and doors onto a private patio area overlooking the sea which is also South West facing. All bed linen is provided. There are two 3' single beds in the back bedroom which has a small side window, fitted wardrobes and dressing table. A free-standing fan is also available. We also offer an ironing board, iron, first aid box and clothes airer for your use. The house bathroom has a bath tub with shower, bidet, basin and WC and bath towels are provided. There is also a heated towel rail for the cooler months. A back door gives access to the patio with table and chairs, a washing machine, clothes line and side steps to the car park. Outside, within the condominium, there are two communal pools (unfenced) for everyone to enjoy with shower and toilet facilities. We also provide beach towels, an umbrella and cool box. Opposite the apartment there is a large, communal roof top terrace for your use. Should you require information regarding surfing, tennis or other activities, we will do our utmost to help. We can also help with car hire, which you will definitely need to explore the area as there is no local transport. Although there are several bars and restaurants within walking distance, the two local shops are a few minutes drive away and there are also three supermarkets in Aljezur which is 10 minutes by car. We have also compiled a comprehensive book with many recommendations and lots of information about the area, bars, beaches etc. for your reference. Free parking within the secure gated condominium. As the apartment is within a small, private condominium with permanent residents, we ask guests to be considerate with the noise they make, music volume and to be respectful of the neighbours. Although we do not live in the condominium, our co host and management team - Mariana at Aljezur Holidays will be on hand to greet our guests and help with any advice you might need. However, I am available at all times by phone or email should guests need to contact me. The area is in the stunning Costa Vicentina National Park and the local beaches, unlike those on the Southern Algarve, are more rugged but equally as beautiful. Locally, Arrifana, Monte Clerigo and Amoreira are amazing Blue flag beaches ideal for sunbathing, swimming, surfing and water sports. There are several bars and restaurants within walking distance and a varied selection on Vale da Telha - a short drive away. There are also plenty of clubs and pubs in Lagos, which is a 35 minute drive away, should you want a more bustling night life. You will definitely need a car here to be able to explore the beautiful surrounding area. Free onsite parking within the secure gated condominium. Should you require car hire from Faro, we can highly recommend a local, family run car hire firm In accordance with Portuguese law, we will require all non Portuguese residents to provide details of all guests staying at the property. This includes Name, Address, DOB, Passport number, Nationality and Country of Residence. Portuguese residents will need to provide their NIF number please. Also, because we wish to offer all our guests the same high standard of cleanliness in the apartment, please be aware of the check in and out times. This then allows us enough time to ensure the same level for everyone. Your compliance will be much appreciated. Please note that late check out, after 10am, may incur an additional charge of 30€. By the same token, we will endeavour to be as flexible as possible to accommodate our guest's individual needs. Thank you. Maximum occupancy is 4 persons - there will be an additional charge of 25€ per/person per night for each extra guest that has not been approved at the time of booking.
