We live in a very wild & beautiful part of Cornwall, the area can be both hot & sunny & also wild & stormy, both beautiful in their own way. Holywell bay has been used as a setting for many films & TV dramas including Die another day (James Bond), Summer in February, Poldark & the recent Jamaica inn tv drama, it is characterised by the twin peaks of Gull (or Carter) rocks & has beautiful golden sands. Polly joke ( or Porth joke) is a beautiful little hidden cove. There are several great pubs & restaurants within walking distance if you should wish to eat out or go for a quiet drink. Buses run on a regular basis from the village which is 10 minutes walk away, there is also a local taxi service.
