Bayside Bungalow

Mother Nature welcomes you! Private studio, self check-in. WiFi, Bluetooth-enabled shower speakers, small TV plays DVD’s (provided), but no cable, full kitchen, queen-sized bed & deck. Views of beautiful Lamoka Lake & bay in park-like setting. Private fire pit & picnic table. The lake is 300 ft. away, swimming raft, two kayaks, pedal boat & rowboat. Dock space. Near wineries, hiking/biking trails, State Parks & Forests. Check out Guidebook in Location section. No visitors w/o prior approval. Coming down the two-mile unpaved road will make you feel like you're in the Adirondacks! Keep your eyes open for the wildlife that may cross the road! At the Bungalow, enjoy the privacy that comes with being at the end of the road, with very few neighbors. A private picnic table, charcoal grill and fire pit (we supply wood) are all close by for guests' use. Two kayaks, paddles & life jackets, pedal boat and a row boat are also available. The lake is 300 ft from the apartment, down the driveway. Dock space available. Feel free to use the floating dock with a slide & diving board. If you chose to swim, please bring your own beach towels. Guests can stroll through the 2.5 acres next to the bay and lake. In the winter, after the lake freezes, it is a perfect place for skating, ice fishing or cross-country skiing on the bay. We check in via text or in person - safely distanced - shortly after guests arrive. We live on the premises and our house is the last one on the right (lakeside) with the small picket fence so we are available if needed. Bayside Bungalow is located in the Finger Lakes and is centrally located within 15 miles of Watkins Glen & Hammondsport and Keuka & Seneca Lakes. There are numerous wineries, breweries, distilleries, and cideries in the area. Many wineries are offering outside tastings, or may be by appointment only and have size restrictions. Hammondsport and Watkins Glen (both 15 mi away) offer an array of highly recommended restaurants. (Outdoor seating, reduced capacity for inside seating, or take-out service.) The Finger Lakes Trail and the Catherine Valley Trail run through Watkins Glen and are wonderful hiking & biking trails. The Outlet Trail in Penn Yan is also an excellent six-mile hiking & biking trail, it runs between Keuka and Seneca Lakes and there are two waterfalls along the way. Corning and the Glass Museum are just 1/2 hr away. The Farm Sanctuary is 10 min. away. The private two-mile road (unpaved) is excellent for shorter hikes & bike rides. Serene kayak paddles around the lake and bay offer peaceful views of hills and wildlife. There are geese, ducks, herons, eagles, ospreys, turkey, otters, beavers, fishers, and deer in the area. Lamoka Lake offers excellent fishing and has small & large-mouth bass, pickerel, crappie & perch. Dock space available. Park in front of the garage with 3363 on it, stairs to the apt are on the left. Coffee and teas are provided, but not a full breakfast. WiFi available. The TV is small, and there is no cable. But it can run DVD’s and is fire stick compatible.
