The Nook; Cosy Studio in Beach Front House
*We are open with social distancing measures in place for both business and leisure stays from 12th April 2021* Welcome to Kelvin House. Our home, which overlooks the sea on Fleetwood's famous Esplanade, is currently being transformed into a collection of luxury holiday apartments. Our guests can enjoy one of our new apartments on the top floor, complete with private kitchen and bathroom. Sadly there’s no sea view, but the beach is just seconds away from your door. Kelvin house is a three-storey Victorian townhouse. The room available is a cosy holiday-style apartment on the second (top) floor at the back of the house. Guests enter through the front door of the house and there are two staircases to the room. The room - The Nook - is a stylish, compact space that’s perfect for the solo traveller. The room is complete with a double bed, cream leather armchair, single wardrobe, 32-inch plasma TV with freeview and a private bathroom and kitchen. The kitchen has brand new appliances and everything you could need to make a full meal or a light snack, including an oven, microwave, mini fridge, toaster and kettle. There is a shared entrance but the guest studio apartment is completely private. The second floor, where the available room is, is sometimes occupied by other guests as there are two other rooms on that floor. We live in the property but leave guests to enjoy their time at Kelvin House once successfully checked in. Saying that we are more than happy to get to know our guests a little better and give advice on local attractions. We are always on hand should guests need anything additional. Kelvin House is based overlooking the sea on the esplanade in Fleetwood. We are just a two minute walk from Marine Hall, Fleetwood splash pad, the amusements and many beachfront cafes. The Mount pub and the North Euston hotel (which has a great restaurant) are very close by. Fleetwood high street is just around the corner, where guests will find restaurants, shops and local pubs. The Affinity shopping centre is less than a five minute drive away, as is Asda for all shopping needs. Cleveleys, with its beautifully updated beachfront is a 10-minute drive away, and you can reach the bright lights of Blackpool in 25 minutes with good traffic. We are based very close to the tram stop, which takes guests straight into Cleveleys and Blackpool. There is ample free parking surrounding the house and Fleetwood’s bars, restaurants and shops are within walking distance.
