The red well country inn at the heart of the Lune Valley in North Lancashire has 7 bedrooms to accomodate visitors as a whole group or individual rooms. A well known Inn on the Kirkby Lonsdale Road a popular base to discover the Lake district and Yorkshire dales and the Trough of Bowland. Excellent walking and cycling . Historic Inn with original features, wood burning stoves, a cosy bar, rooms all ensuite shower rooms, wifi, smart tvs, parking & beer garden Continental breakfast is included The property is a stone built Inn. The rooms are all off a central corridor and the pub is open plan with a large garden. There is lots of off street parking. To access the bedrooms you need to go up stairs. The pub and beer garden is fully accessible. In a rural setting in the Lune Valley between the pretty villages of Over Kellet and Arkholme and about 8 miles to Kirkby Lonsdale, 3.3miles to Carnforth - nearest train station and 15 miles to the historic town of Lancaster. Please note if you require a hair drier and toiletries during your stay please ask at the bar. There will be a discretionary charge for these items. We are dog friendly but this must be by prior arrangement if not there will be a surcharge of £20 per dog per night.
