We and the house guardians will be at your disposal and will facilitate check ins and check outs Surroundings and Activities From the house large balcony you can gaze at the sea, only a 20 mins car trip through the A12 highway. Towards south you can reach the small beaches of Santa Marinella and Santa Severa with its enchanting castle on the sea where during summer suggestive concerts and artistic events are organised . Or just 10 mins further south you can find the famous Etruscan necropolis of Cerveteri. Towards north you'll find the harbour of Civitavecchia, a suggestive small town with a lovely historical city centre with plenty of amazing typical restaurants. Past Civitavcchia, only a 30 min drive from the Cottage you'll find the beach of S. Agostino, less touristy but extremely beautiful where you'll find romantic restaurants right on the beach to appreciate a romantic moon light dinner. Keep moving towards north, aprox 20 mins from the cottage, you'll also find Tarquinia, stunning artistic town, famous for its old towers, the Etruscan museum within Palazzo Vitelleschi with its archeological site. Tarquinia is also famous for the typical cuisine and wine. Close by you'll be able to reach the also very famous archeological site of Vulci as well as Capalbio, the stunning Tuscan's town with hits beautiful beach in the middle of Tuscany's Maremma! Definitely worth a visit! From the train station of Civitavecchia is also possible to catch a direct train to Rome, which is only 50 mins away. Trains to Rome departs every day every 10 mins. Walking distance from the cottage its possible to reach the small and vibrant villages of Allumiere and Tolfa as well as La Bianca where you'll be able to find plenty of the most typical and authentic small restaurants as well as joyful community. For a day dedicated to wellness and relax just a few km of Tolfa you can reach the thermal baths of Stigliano, deep in the greens of Tolfa with swimming pools, hot springs, a spa and an organic awarded restaurant. On the way to the spa we highly recommend to stop for lunch at Casale dell'Acqua Bianca, for amazing food and an even more amazing view. From the house is also possible to access amazing hikes as well as bikes and or horse rides alternatively you can reach the beach for a day in the sun or go for a day trip to one of the historical sites only 20 mins away.
