Unplug and unwind in our vintage charmer at the North end of Water Street. With Sweeping water-views of the Passamaquoddy Bay, you’ll be the first to see the sunrise in this Easternmost City! Whale watch from the deck and listen to the seabirds call as you relax just outside the busy downtown scene or take a short walk into town to enjoy shops, galleries, eclectic eateries and our very own microbrewery! Vintage Charmer built in the 1900's being lovingly updated to include all the modern conveniences, while keeping some historical appeal. The property is set back in a quiet alcove on Water Street and is surrounded by lush rose bushes, and mature trees for maximum privacy in the summer. Listen to the sea birds call, watch the lobsterman come in or go out, whale watch from the front deck, enjoy visits by friendly deer all set in your own slice of heaven. We’ve got great water-views but not direct beach access. Three bedrooms are available on the second floor. Large second floor bathroom with a claw foot tub & walk in shower for the best of both worlds! Linens, towels and limited "starter set" of paper products provided. First floor offers a second bathroom, with a standard shower. Coffee bar with Keurig coffee maker, french press & drip coffee maker. Limited coffee pods & ground coffee provided, individual creamers, sugar. Plenty of garbage bags and dishwasher pods provided. Large farm table in the hearth room for dining or your gaming enjoyment. Some games & puzzles provided. Four-person round glass table in kitchen, built in pantry area. Large wrap around deck with built in seating and views of the Bay of Fundy. Private covered patio at the rear of the home, also leads directly into the kitchen. NEW in 2021! The 1st floor of the "Barnhouse" has been updated to include an area for steaming & eating seafood, yard games have been provided, & portable solo stove (only to be used on gravel)! Pets will be considered, with a non-refundable $125 fee. Not appropriate for young children. You'll have the entire cottage to yourself! Available by phone or email. Fresh lobster can be found at Quoddy Bay Lobster (closed for the 2021 season) voted by Yankee Magazine as having the best lobster roll in New England! Whale watching and fishing expeditions are available in town. Enjoy the concerts of Summer Keys. Hiking and kayaking options are plentiful. You are just a short walk from the heart of Eastport's historic seaport. Take the ferry to Lubec, drive to Campobello Island and Calais is just 20 minutes away!
