A vibrant, busy and very welcoming Scottish Borders town. A town steeped in history, Selkirk has a lot to offer to tourists with places like Bowhill, the Haining House and Sir Walter Scots Court room are all worth a visit. There are great bus connections to Hawick/Carlisle to the south and Galashiels/Edinburgh to the north. There is also a regular train service to Edinburgh from Galashiels. A car would be useful to make the most of neighbouring towns and tourists attractions. We have a 2 dachshunds Haggis and Cooper. they are both very friendly with people and other dogs, although they do like to be heard. We welcome dogs at the Bunk House. However, due to the steep spiral staircases we only allow dogs on the ground floor for safety reasons. We also ask that dogs are not left in the Bunk House on there own. We also ask guests to make use of the public car park outside and not to park on the drive as it makes it difficult for us to get in and out sometimes and also we don't want to block yous in.
