Sunny, airy and very typical, this is a two story house in Ajuda, next to Belém, with a wonderful view over the river and the sea. There is a garden/backyard, where you can relax, have barbecues, eat and play outdoor games. As you enter the house, you will get a vintage feeling mixed with rustic charm. FREE AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION I will pick you up at the airport and take you back so that you can enjoy the house and the city as soon as possible. Located in Ajuda, Belém Area – one of Lisbon’s most important historical sites. This is a residential neighbourhood, but the busy city is at your reach: Belém by foot or bus and downtown by bus (two different buses just in front of the house) or the Lisbon typical tram. Close by: the Royal Palace, Royal Botanical Gardens, Igreja da Memória and Tropical Garden. In Belém, you have more public transportation, restaurants, shops, coffee shops, bakeries… and, of course, lots of historical buildings, museums and gardens to visit. There are 2 bus stops in front of the house. The 2 buses cover most of the city in different ways: 727 and 760. Although this is public transportation, you almost feel like travelling in a tourist bus, since they stop at the most important historical, cultural and entertaining sites. And very close to the house, you also have a typical Lisbon tram – number 18, to Cais do Sodré (downtown). The ride begins and ends here, so you can always get a seat at the window!
