Cosy, quirky and comfortable with a small courtyard garden Cornerstone Cottage is a one bedroom room terraced house at Mountain Ash with far reaching views across the valley. Furnished in period style , central heating , large bathroom with with bath and overbath shower,. There is a small rear courtyard garden equiped with a table and chairs. Use of whole house and garden. WiFi . There is a television for playing D.V.D.'s but no T.V. aerial so no live tv programmes There is a key safe for guests if I am unable to meet them at the house. Bed linen is provided but please bring your own bath towels. The Valleys are friendly places and Mountain Ash is no exeption. There are plenty of lovely local walks on the mountains and pine forests either side of the Valley or you can walk the disused railway line along the river Cynon to Aberdare and beyond. Mountain Ash is about 25 mins from the Brecon Becons and the spectacular Waterfalls and the Brecon Mountain Steam Railway. Cardiff can be reached by car in about 35 minutes( 40 mins on the train) from Mountain Ash railway station. Mountain Ash has its own railway station with direct trains to Cardiff ( 40 mins) or Aberdare (15 mins). By road the A470 from junct 32 of the M4, then A1059 to Mountain Ash There is a fish and chip shop on the corner of Dover Street, 1 minutes walk away and a corner shop 2 minutes away. Mountain Ash railway station is 10 mins walk away as is the towns shopping street ( Oxford Street)
