Casa da Laranjeira - villa with private pool

EN Casa da Laranjeira is a contemporary author house, with private pool and a privileged relationship between inside and outside. It's placed into a typical countryside scenery in the Minho region and what makes it special is the way it's inserted in Nature, allowing the guests to relax despite being close to all amenities. It's located between the cities of Ponte de Lima, Braga and Viana do Castelo, and a 20min drive to the beach. There's also a beautiful balcony to have your meals. No pets. PT A casa possui um openspace com cozinha, sala de jantar e sala de estar com TV plana. Este espaço amplo tem ligação à varanda e tem uma vista fabulosa sobre a piscina e sobre a paisagem envolvente. Possui também três quartos, sendo que dois deles são de casal (um deles com quarto-de-banho privado) e um é de solteiro, um quarto-de-banho comum e uma dispensa. Todos os quartos têm muita luz natural e armários embutidos com espaço para muita arrumação. A roupa de cama e de banho é providenciada pelo anfitrião. EN The house has an openspace with a fully equipped ekitchen, dining room and living room with flat screen. This wide area connects to the balcony, with a view over the swimming pool and the surrounding landscape. It has three bedrooms: two of them have double beds (one of these is a master suite with its own ensuite bathroom) and the third room has a single bed. It also has a shared complete bathroom and a pantry. All rooms have a lot of natural light and built-in closets with plenty of storage. The bed linens and bath towels are provided by the host. PT Os hóspedes têm acesso a toda a casa, incluindo a piscina privada (não partilhada). Na zona de chegada à casa existe bastante espaço para estacionamento de carros. EN The guests have access to the entire house, with a private swimming pool (not shared). Plenty of space to park cars. PT Normalmente recebemos os hóspedes assim que chegam à villa e voltamos à casa no último dia da estadia para receber as chaves. Se os hóspedes precisarem de qualquer coisa podem entrar em contacto connosco a qualquer hora. EN We usually receive the guests upon arrival and meet them again once they leave to receive the house keys. If the guests need anything during their stay they can contact us anytime. PT A casa está localizada numa zona rural perto de uma aldeia tradicional com tudo que possa precisar: cafés, restaurantes, farmácia, supermercados, caixa de multibanco, lavandaria, etc.. Até à aldeia, de carro, demora 2 minutos de carro ou 10 minutos a pé. Se quiser conhecer o Norte de Portugal, de carro pode aceder a vários locais de interesse com várias atividades: Ponte de Lima (25min), Braga (25min), várias praias (30min), Viana do Castelo (35min), Parque Nacional do Gerês (40min), Porto (1 hora), etc.. Teremos todo o gosto em aconselhá-lo relativamente a sítios para visitar, locais onde comer e atividades (desportivas incluindo aquáticas e equestres, trilhos pedestres, BTT, pesca em alto mar, etc.) ou outra qualquer que tenha interesse. EN The house is located in a rural area near a small and traditional vila with all amenities: cafes, restaurants, pharmacy, supermarkets, ATM, laundry, etc.. It would take 2min by car or a 10min walk to get to the vila. If you would like to visit the North of Portugal, by car you can access several places of interest that offer different types of activities: Ponte de Lima (25min), Braga (25min), several beaches (30min), Viana do Castelo (35min), Gerês' National Park (40min), Oporto (1 hour), etc.. We would love to advise you on the best places to visit (cities, villages, beaches, forests), places to eat, activities to do (sports activities including aquatic and equestrian, hiking, BTT, open ocean and deep sea fishing, etc.) or anything else you might need. Nesta área é melhor ter um carro à disposição pois os transportes públicos não são muitos frequentes. Também existem táxis caso não pretendam conduzir ou simplesmente não tenham intenção de realizar muitas deslocações. In this area it's definitely better to have a car because the buses don't run very often. There are also taxis for those who prefer not to drive or don't plan to move a lot. If you like to go for walks, there's a nearby trail called "Trilho de Sao Juliao de Freixo". It's considered short (5,53km long), takes 3h30min average to do it and it starts in Largo do Senhor dos Aflitos, just a 15min walk from the house. It elevates 272m so it can be done by the whole family. You'll see churches and chapels, small rivers, agriculture and animals and a windmill. There are also beautiful trails in Ponte de Lima, but we specifically recommend the Ecovia do Lima, which runs along the Lima river and passes next to the lagoons. Right next to these trails is the "Centro Aventura", great for all ages with all sorts of activities: kayaking, air bungee, slide, paintball, stand up paddle, riding horses, etc. If you like to ride bicycles there´s plenty of options in Ponte de Lima city centre, in Centro Aventura (see above) or even if you-re into BTT, there are plenty of trails. There's a famous park in Ponte de Lima where some champions go to train called "Bike Park Ponte de Lima", not for someone who's just starting. Just 40min drive from the house is Parque Nacional Peneda-Gerês, the only National Park in Portugal. A beautiful way to spend a day, to enjoy the views and go for a swim in the lake.
