Bush walks on property and nearby. Being in the business since 1990 has made us aware of the fact that guests have differing expectations. We do try to tailor our input to guests individual needs. We are former members of Committees of Management of the Grand Ridge Rail Trail and nearby Lyrebird Forest Walk, so are able to give guests in depth information about these and other recreational facilities. Boolarra has a quite unique layout. It is not a typical Australian "one street" town. It is laid out like and English village, with parks and a common, which was what attracted us and many others to the town. Experience the Grand Ridge Rail Trail and the Morwell River falls, both great experiences. Free parking is available at the door of the cottage. The surrounding area is home to many species of wildlife including kangaroos, koalas, wombats, echidnas and kookaburras.
