A 2 storeys new built architect's stonehouse according to traditional architecture of Ano Volos. By the main road, 10 min form Volos, 10 min from Pelion mountains and 20 min from seaside. Uninterrupted view over the city and sea. 2 rooms sleeps 5. The house is in the middle of all interesting and worth visiting places in Pelion. Equally near to the city of Volos where visitors can have a cosmopolitan visit or near the picturesque mountain villages and the ski resort in Chania 20 min by car, but also 20 min by car away from seaside. It offers anything a guest may need and you will feel like home. Visitors have access to the ground floor where is the entrance to the house, the living and dining areas and kitchen as an open space. The ground floor has direct contact to a covered veranda and the garden. The first floor, connected with a staircase, is the bedroom and bathroom area. Two bedrooms there that can sleep 5: a main bedroom with a double bed and veranda with excellent view and a second bedroom with a bunk bed the lower part of which becomes double bed. Cupboards in both rooms. Bathroom with bath, sink, toilet. Free car parking area is provided across the road. The owners have their own space in the basement of the house with its own entrance from the lower level veranda. However due to their job duties they live most of the time to another city. It is possible to have direct phone or (Hidden by Airbnb) contact with them if needed to guide and help you. Their neighbour is representing them and takes care of the house and the guests. He will be there for anything a guest may need. The house is in a small scale housing part of a small village Ano Volos, 2km away from Katochori and around 10 km from Portaria. There are many walking paths in the area, some very easy some more difficult, easily accessed from the house. In Portaria and Makrynitsa there are some excellent places to visit, as well as restaurants, tavernas, cafes and traditional shops. Just across the road in front of the house, in the public square of the Agia Triada church, there is a taverna. The house is built 80 m from the main road leading from Volos to Pelion mountain, Portaria and Makrynitsa. Public bus transportation stops 80 m far from the house. Own or rent car is recommended and free parking area is provided across the road. Taxis can also be arranged. There is a staircase connecting two floors so in case of small children special care has to be taken by the tenants. The same is important for the veranda area where children have to be constantly attended.
