The house is modern, and the two bedrooms are upstairs. The main bedroom opens to a balcony with a view to the North. The house is air conditioned and all bedrooms have ceiling fans with remote controls. A modern, light and airy house, but with electrically controlled blockout shutters on the windows. These give temperature control, light and noise control and privacy. Guest have two bedrooms available, private bathroom and vanity, plus a kitchenette and an outdoor balcony dining space with weather and light protection. Lyn and Malcolm live on-site, downstairs, and are always available. Our Blue Wren Retreat is situated on a quiet street, 7km from Adelaide CBD and the Central Market. Close by are Costco, Coles, Aldi, K-Mart, Cheap as Chips, Bunnings, Woolworths and many cafes, restaurants and hotels. Most of these are within 1km. Also 4 medical centres, 3 Pharmacies and 3 cinema complexes within 5 km. We are less than 6km from both the Royal Adelaide Hospital and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Adelaide Airport is less than 20 minutes away, 9km. There are two bus routes and a train station within 10 minutes walk. Bus and train are very convenient. Less than a 7 minute walk to either city bus route. One takes you down King William St to Victoria Square and the Central Market. The other goes to City West and the University campus, into Light Square then South via Goodwood. Road. The Northern train line from the city to Gawler is a ten minute walk away at Islington station. The free city tram network with free car parking available is less than 5km away. There is ample free street parking at The Blue Wren Retreat.
