It's size is 950 m x 200 m. The island is narrow so in some places on both sides of the street the view will be on the ocean. There are two bikini beaches. On the first one you will find a cafe and well-equipped water sports center, here we provide sunbeds and umbrellas free of charge. South beach is a perfect place for a quiet, relaxing break. There are hammocks in the water and hand-made local stylished huts. The island has a very good infrastructure like: health centre with a pharmacy, restaurant called Faruma, two local cafes where you can try delicious local snacks “short eats” based on tuna and coconut also two souvenir shops and 5 well-stocked grocery stores and one cafe with full of flavour Baskin-Robbins ice creams. Are you a surfer? Great, we have good spot for both beginners and advanced surfers. Looking for extreme? Within 15 minutes by boat there is a one of the most famous spots in the country, Cokes. Hotel Ohana Maldives is located in the center of the Dhiffushi Island, within walking distance of all major sites, shopping, dining and bikini beach. There are 7 modern and comfortable double and triple rooms where You will find a tropical colour scheme and stylish hand made furniture. There are three options to reach Dhiffushi: 1. Cheap - Public Ferry. Schedule, Everyday (except Monday and Friday), leaves at 2:30PM from Male, Villingili Ferry Terminal, duration 3,5h, cost USD 2 per person. 2.Fast - Public Speedboat. Schedule, Everyday (except Friday), leaves at 4:30PM from Male, Jetty nr 5 (in front of Bank of Ceylon), duration 45 min, cost USD 25 per person. Schedule for Friday 8:30AM and 8:30PM. 3.Flexible - Private Speedboat. Schedule up to your wish, leaves: possible directly from the Airport, duration 45 min, cost USD 270-330 per boat (depends on the weather, day/night), max 12 pax.
