Alkira Snapper Studio Fish Creek

Fish Creek is a lovely little country town, full of Arts and Crafts, set in the green rolling hills of South Gippsland. With lots of galleries, book shops and cafes. The Iconic Fish Creek pub serves meals every day of the year. It's also home to famous authors Alison Lester and Roland Harvey. Fish Creek is a great place to enjoy the outdoors. It is the closest town to Wilsons Promontory National Park and is home to the Great Southern Rail Trail which passes right through town. Our studio apartments are designed to let you enjoy an overnight stay or to spend a few days. They are equipped with a queen bed, sofa bed, ensuite bathroom and have tea and coffee making facilities. The studios have no kitchen but do have a toaster, microwave, cutlery and crockery. We are right in the heart of Fish Creek and just a short walk to everything this lovely little town has to offer. So park your car and relax! Each studio is a separate space with separate access. Each has a keybox that you can use for entry. The code will be given to you on the day of your booking. Front Door and Parking for Snapper is at the front of the building. Front door and parking for Bluefin is at the back of the building. We support cyclists on the Great Southern Rail Trail which runs right past our Alkira Fish Creek Accommodation, so if you would like to hire a bike or would like to ride the Great Southern Rail Trail then let us know. If you are planning a walk or ride check out our farOut app with hikes in Wilsons Prom and rides throughout the area. The Fishy Pub is open every night for dinner. It is always good to book. It can get very busy. Long John Pickles is open early for breakfast most days and for dinner on the weekends. Check out their FB page for opening times. Bookings advised. Gibsons and Little Oberon are wonderful cafes and Little Oberon has an art Gallery with local artist exhibitions. If you need a few groceries the Fish Creek Pharmacy/General Store and the BP service Station have the basics. Including local icecream! We hope you enjoy your stay. Public transport is available from Melbourne. The PTV Coach to Yarram comes by 4 times a day and stops in Fish Creek just a short walk up the road. You can catch the coach from Melbourne Southern cross right by the Melbourne Airport Skybus and return to the same location.
