No. 4 - Squirrels Cottage is set within Maen Valley, the Village of Gardens. It is a tranquil village of self catering holiday cottages surrounded by award-winning gardens in a sheltered south-facing wooded valley. The garden village is a magical and safe place to explore for both adults and children alike. With an unbeatable location, great leisure facilities and a local host to assist with any of your requirements during your stay. The Cottage is set in a quiet location within the village with no through traffic. There is a lovely patio area that captures the sun throughout the day, ideal for relaxing and a afternoon/evening BBQs (Charcoal BBQ available) Guests have full access to the village of gardens and all of its facilities. In the summer a great cafe, bar and restaurant opens, including a splash pool, jacuzzi ( listed as hot tub)and steam room. The gym and tennis courts are open year round. Please note cafe, bar, splash pool , jacuzzi and steam room CLOSED from NOV-APRIL As a local host I can provide assistance throughout your stay if needed. The village of gardens offers fantastic facilities which include, tennis courts, gym, children's play area, pool table, solarium, splash pool/jacuzzi/steam room*, cafe bar and restaurant*. There is one private parking space available outside Squirrels and further spaces around the village for guests. *Seasonal opening Close to Squirrels you find the town and port of Falmouth with its beautiful and safe sandy beaches, lively harbour and fantastic sailing grounds. Falmouth is the third largest natural deep-water port in the world and is often acknowledged as one of the most attractive holiday destination catering for all needs. The village of gardens is set on the south coast which offers the opportunity to explore local area and the rest of Cornwall your doorstep. Great walks, beaches, cafes and restaurants all close by.
