All rooms have a floor-based heating system, Ondol(Gudeul), which makes frigid winters warm enough. The unique traditional house is also specially designed for summer with a cool, light, and airy wooden-floor style hall and big front yard. currently, we are under construction for new building in this area. So the place will be little mess, noisy during the day, even dangerous to kids. There’s lots of interesting things to do that you’ve never done before like making your own tea leafs, splitting a chunk of firewood, preparing some traditional Korean food, and having fun with fascinating sewing crafts. Ask to the hostess if you are interested. There are instruments to play with such as jembe, guitar, and Korean drum A walk around Jirisan(Mt.) or old paths, climbing Jiri Mountain are another suggestions that you can enjoy. We started to share our house for many requests from our friends after they visited us and enjoyed our rural village and Korean traditional housing ‘Hanok’. We are happy to share our house and stories with you. How to get to the guesthouse From Seoul, express buses in East Seoul Express Bus Terminal to get here ten times a day. Get a bus to Machun, Hamyang and tell the bus driver that you get off at ‘Silsangsa (temple)’ bus stop. From the bus stop, it takes about 30 minute by foot. If you have a big luggage, pick up service is available upon advance request.
