La Casa Famiglia, King Valley
Recently renovated, perfect for up to two couples and 4 kids, this property is kitted out with relaxation in mind. On the banks of the King River and within a stones throw of all that the King Valley offers - world class wineries, breweries, fine dining restaurants, artisan producers, lakes and mountains and more. Relax on the deck and listen to the river, or snuggle up in front of the fireplace with a bottle of award-winning local wine and cheese - the possibilities are endless. KRR will be all yours for the entirety of your stay, and with only 6 houses in the town of Edi, you'll be able to feel the serenity. While you may only be 7 minutes from world class wineries, 8 minutes from artisan produce, and 9 minutes from the closest coffee (other than your very own coffee machine), you'll feel like you're a world away. And that's just how we like it. Designed to be just as comfortable in the hot King Valley summers as the cool North East winters, from the moment you land at KRR, you'll be trying to reshuffle your life so you can 'work from home' in the stunning King Valley. The house is yours - from the riverside sun-baking area, the lush front lawn complete with fire-pit, the sun-drenched deck complete with 8-seater outdoor setting and a BBQ to match, to the spa, fireplace, flat-screen, coffee machine and crushed linen bedding - the entire house is yours to enjoy. We will be available via telephone and someone is available within 15 minutes if required. World-class wineries that include Dal Zotto, Pizzini & Christmont, King Valley Brewery, the famous Whitfield Hotel and the soon-to-be-famous Mohyu Hotel, the Moyhu Butter Factory, Lake William Hovell, Paradise Falls, Lake Buffalo, Mount Buffalo, famous Kelly country - all on your door-step. You're a long way from public transport, but there's plenty of tours that operate in the region and you're only a few hundred metres from the main King Valley - Wangaratta road. Telephone coverage is sketchy in the house (which is how we like it), but there is coverage on the corner of the deck or on the front lawn. Old school, hey? Needless to say, there is no wifi, but there are plenty of board games, there's hookey, coits and plenty of open space and clean country air.
