Tranquil Tirimoana in Marlborough Sounds
Come and relax plus have lots of adventures in Tirimoana, Anakiwa. Bring the whole family, summer or winter the sounds is a great place to be. Its a very restful, tranquil area which I believe is good for the soul. . Enjoy the warmth of my home which has a log burner to keep you cosy during the winter but is an airy home in the summer There are two range sliders taking you out onto two different decks where you can sit with a coffee or glass of wine and enjoy your surrounds or read a book. At the beginning of Anakiwa road there is mountain bike and kayak hire, Queen Charlotte track is at the end of the road Extra beds can be put up if needed. A single bed and two stretchers that can be made into bunk beds. You have a washing machine and a drying rack but no drier. You will be renting my entire house which includes two bedrooms inside and a room with ensuite off the garage. There is internal access to the third room. The inside bathroom has a bath and separate toilet. I will not be on the property. Tirimoana is a quiet neighbourhood where you can bring your toys to play or hire bikes and kayaks locally. Wineries are a 50 minute drive away but definitely worth the drive. The Marlborough sounds is a wonderful place if you enjoy boating, water skiing, fishing, kayaking, swimming, hiking, mountain biking and much more. The boat ramp is 5 minutes away with a second one across the water at The Grove, 10 minutes away. Link water is 5 minutes down the road with a service station and small shop. Havelock is 20 minutes away with petrol, groceries, cafes, restaurants beautician and hairdresser. Picton is a 35 minute drive where you will get most things including a picture theatre. PLEASE NOTE: Guests must take their rubbish with them. There are bins at the Grove, a 5 minute drive, which cost $3.00 to put your rubbish bag in. Thank you for your consideration, much appreciated.
