Brighton Backyard Cottage, Free NBN wifi

Just 2km from the ocean in the beautiful suburb of Brighton you are close to everything. It's only a 20min drive to Brisbane Airport and public transport is just 400m away. The cottage is completely separate from the main house, so you have your own space with a kitchenette, living area, separate bedroom and private bathroom. Aircondition in the bedroom and screens at all windows. Wir sprechen auch gerne DEUTSCH :) The cottage is a completely separate building in our backyard so you enjoy total privacy in a quiet neighbourhood. The bedroom is airconditioned and the windows are screened. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave/convection oven combination, fridge, a cooktop, kettle, blender and toaster. Plus lots of pots and pans, plates and cups. If anything is missing just ask, :) In the bedroom, you have a double bed 185x185cm. The bed has a firm mattress. If that is not your thing just let us know, we will do our very best to make your sleep comfortable. The cottage is separate with its own entrance so you can come and go as you like. There is security lighting for your safety. We are in a cul-de-sac so it's nice and quiet. If you need any washing done just let us know, that is no problem. The washing machine is in the main house so we will pick up your laundry and return it washed in a basket ready for you to hang it up to dry. We live in the main house in the front. We are happy to give as much help and advice as you require but equally happy to leave you in peace. My husband and I both work from home so will be available most of the time. The Cottage is situated behind our home in a quiet and safe street in the suburb of Brighton. The Sandgate Brighton Shorncliffe area is one of the oldest areas of Brisbane as it was once THE holiday destination before the Gold Coast and Sunshine coast were developed. As a result, there remain some lovely stately old homes along the waterfront which in their heyday were upmarket boarding house in the 1800s. The old post office and town hall on the main roundabout in the village centre have been restored and are usually open to view. Lots of walking and cycling tracks all around the area, it's only 2km to the foreshore. Shops and restaurants and waterfront within 5 minutes drive. If you are flying in there is a 24 hour Woolworths at Skygate Centre The Circuit, Brisbane Airport. (next to DFO) PLEASE READ ... ❤ Brisbane International and Domestic Airport only 15 minutes drive. There is a bus stop accessible within 500m (servicing buslines #310 to Brisbane CBD, #311 to Sandgate & Bracken RIdge and #312 to Sandgate). The closest train station is Sandgate (7min by car) which is on the Shorncliffe-Cleveland line, going directly to the Brisbane CBD, Fortitude Valley and South Bank.Sandgate as well as to the Airport, Boondall Entertainment Centre and even the Gold Coast. The M1 (highway) is less than a 5 minutes drive and will get you anywhere. Sandgate 7 minutes drive. Shorncliffe 9 minutes drive. Redcliffe Peninsula 9 minutes drive. Sunshine Coast 1 hour drive. Gold Coast 1 hour drive. The cottage is in our backyard, 10m away from our house. When you come home you walk up our driveway to get to the cottage. There are sensor lights along the way for you to get home safely at night. Unfortunately you can't bring any pets.
