Quarantine Friendly with outside small garden area (not pool area). Please note we’re only accepting guests with previous Airbnb reviews. ‘Casa Colina' Our lovely, comfortable and tastefully furnished apartment next to our house on a quiet street and very close to the Shelley foreshore and to all amenities including a popular cafe and restaurants. Bus stops are 100 meters away giving easy access to the city. It comfortably sleeps 4 people, it's bright, clean and airy. NB: **for quarantine purposes we are currently only accepting guests with previous Airbnb reviews** In Casa Colina you will have all the advantages of having your own private spacious apartment as well as the bonus of having someone local right next door if needed! There is a lovely, clean wooden flooring throughout, and the apartment has been newly and tastefully decorated and furnished. I pride myself on keeping it fresh, clean and tidy. The space is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. It has a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, and I have tried to include everything I can think of to ensure your stay is a home from home experience. There is air reverse cycle air conditioning in the main living area for the really hot or cold days and fans for use in each room if required. There are electric blankets on the beds during the winter months. There is a DVD player and a selection DVD's for you to use and also a CD player with various CD's. I leave complimentary breakfast food enough for one breakfast to get you started consisting of milk, eggs, bread, preserves and butter tea and coffee. Please let me know if you have specific dietary requests. The pantry is also stocked with most condiments so you won't have to go out and buy if you want to cook in the apartment. There is a laundry room for your use too. We have free WIFI access. The main bedroom has large walk in robe and the second bedroom has a mini portable wardrobe for hanging clothes and storing items. We can provide a cot (large or travel cot) if you have a baby travelling with you, as well as a baby bath. We also have a portable bed which can be put in the living room if you have two people in your party who do not want to share the second bedroom (or even possibly for a 5th guest). I have put a flexible check-in and check out time on the booking site, so if there is nobody in before you and nobody checking in after you, the time you arrive and leave is up to you, but we can only allow a flexible checkout if no one is checking in the day you leave. If you know you have a late flight and want the apartment to the evening or late afternoon we would recommend that you book an extra night to guarantee this. Our house and the guest apartment are adjoined but totally private and separate in terms of privacy and access. Guests have their own key to front and back door and will have access to use the shared BBQ, alfesco area and pool as required (pool is functional during the summer months only). Please note that the pool is older fibre glass style and a little tired and faded but we do keep it clean in the summer months so feel free to take a cooling dip should you wish to. The Laundry room is the space that separates the two properties; the door to your adjoining apartment can be kept locked by you from the inside. An off road parking spot in the driveway is there exclusively for your use. We promote the apartment as private and independent to appeal to people who would like a more private and peaceful experience during their stay but that doesn't mean we wouldn't love a chat with you if the opportunity arises or you would like our help in any way. We are right next door so feel to knock. We are keen to do all we can to make your stay enjoyable and perfect so if you have any special requests or require anything to be organised before your arrival then please let us know. It is a self catered apartment but you can help yourself to anything in the pantry and also enjoy the complimentary first morning breakfast. If you prefer cereal to eggs, preserves and bread please let us know. We are really busy most days and not there all the time but we are always available on the phone. We live in a lovely quiet neighbourhood by day and night a we are a stone's throw from the beautiful Canning River where there are beautiful walks, beaches, free BBQ's, children's play parks and open areas to enjoy. The neighbours are very quiet so the only disturbance you may get are from the bird's early morning calls! Shelley is a short distance from the CBD (8 kms or 15 minutes by car, 30 by bus), 20 mins from the Airport yet enjoys all the luxury of being a quiet riverside location near to shops and restaurants in walking distance. There is a newly opened cafe about 200 meters from The apartment offering excellent food and coffee open 7.30 am - 3 pm. The house is 1 minute's walk to bus stops that go directly to the city or to Bull Creek Train/Bus Station (every 30 minutes or so), Curtin and Murdoch Universities are 10 minutes by car away or can be easily accessed by bus or cycle for the more enthusiastic fitness buffs. The Shelley foreshore is a short 3 minute stroll away. There are a few shops including a Hairdresser, Fish and Chips, Indian Restaurant, Korean Restaurant, Chinese Takeaway, Beautician, Chiropractor, Podiatrist and Cellarbrations Bottle Shop, and Post Office just a short 2 minute walk away. Unfortunately the convenience store is temporarily closed, but there is a really good IGA and Delicatessen in Rossmoyne a short distance away. And two Supermarkets within 5 minutes drive. There are a couple of cycles and cycle helmets for you to borrow if you want to cycle up to our lovely Lo Quay coffee shop on the river and cycle into the beautiful Canning Park or simple cycle along the cycle path that runs beside the river. I have left some tourist Information in the apartment as well as takeaway menus for the restaurants across the road. There is off road parking on the driveway available if required. We share our side of the house with our old cat Jinx who is shy but friendly but she is kept out of your apartment due to some guests having cat allergies. Her access to our house is via a cat flap door in the laundry area where she then scuttles straight into our house.
